This is my third year teaching fifth grade math at Crissey. I started my teaching career at Woodmore Elementary where I taught first grade.
I attended BGSU for both my undergraduate and master's degree. My bachelor's degree is in elementary education and I am licensed to teach grades 1-8. My master's degree is in curriculum and teaching.
My husband and I went to high school together and have been married for almost 17 years. We have three children that all attend Springfield schools and a four year old black lab mix named Teddy. Our oldest son, Brian, is in seventh grade at SMS; our daughter, Olivia, is in sixth grade at SMS; and our youngest son, William, is in third grade here at Crissey. This will be my first year at Crissey without one of my children in my class.
In my spare time I enjoy watching my kids play sports, reading, and jogging. My favorite thing to watch on tv is Detroit Tigers baseball. My other favorite team is Duke basketball.
